Description

There were a lot more, this picture does not do it justice. They just kept all flying away when I peeked through the window for a picture. I know what flock and herd mentality is in animals. Seeing them all take off in a cloud in a split second because one of them saw me was something else.

We've had these in our yard a few times too. Never alone, always in huge flocks. Usually during fall. They seem to love turning over leaves for bugs :)
Are they black birds?

And yeah I know, they're black and they're birds :P, but I mean are they the species? I'm kinda new to the country so I'm still trying to learn about the wildlife here.
